AMC CEO Adam Aron announced the third AMC NFT via a tweet. The Matrix NFT is the third NFT announced by AMC after the Spiderman No Way Home NFT and the I Own AMC NFT.
Adam told the fans that they were getting what they asked in the tweet. AMC has secured 20 Matrix NFTs from Nifty’s and Warner Bros. This NFT comes with a special giveaway starting Monday at 1 PM EST. The Matrix NFT will be given on AMC’s Social channels.
The Matrix Resurrection, the 2021 sci-fi movie, is the fourth installment in the Matrix film series. The first movie of the film was released in 2003. The Matrix Resurrections is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures on 22nd December in Theatres.
AMC has shown much interest in digital and cryptocurrency. The Theatre chain received some inputs for the NFTs in the shareholders’ meeting last month.
Earlier in November, AMC came up with its first-ever NFT, the Spiderman NFT, which performed better than expected and added to the already hyped movie from Sony Pictures.
The AMC stock price previously closed at $29.46. At the time of writing, the AMC stock trades at $27.57, up 0.13 points (0.47%) pre-market.
