Walmart Releases Q3 earnings, grew by 9.2%

Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) announced its quarter 3 earnings report on Tuesday before the market opened. It generated adjusted EPS of $1.45 and $140.5 billions in revenue.

Walmart Inc. last reported its earnings report on 12th August, 2021. The company generated total revenue of $141.0billion,up by 2.4% from the previous quarter. Net sales of Walmart and eCommerce sales increased by nearly 13% and 6% in quarter 2 respectively. Walmart, U.S Adjusted Operating Income was strong, up about 12%. Walmart International net    sales were $23.0 billion, a decrease   

of $4.1billion. It reported an EPS of $1.78.

The company registered strong growth in advertising businesses globally, including nearly doubling sales in Walmart,U.S. compared to the quarter in last year. 

Future Plans

Walmart Inc. plans to build two huge, automated warehouses in Dallas, creating about a thousand full-time jobs. Walmart also is planning to expand its healthcare presence to self-funded employer plans.
