There are days where it gains a little but those gains aren’t worthy since they are lost miserably after a point of time. Moreover, today the market has totally crashed. Major coins like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) too have lost a huge value.
Major coins that declined
Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, had lost a huge 9.50% and traded at $35,779.83 at 8:21 a.m. ET. The market capitalization stood at $680 billion, down by a massive 9.50%. However, the 24-hour trading volume gained by a massive 44.89% to $49.1 billion. Earlier last month, Bitcoin price slid to below $40k and now it’s following the trend.
Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest digital token, is also dipping after a hiatus from red. The coin fell by a huge 8.51% and traded at $2,680.84 at 8:22 a.m. ET. The market capitalization stood at $323 billion, down by 8.50%. However, the 24-hour trading volume Increased by 54.59% to $25.9 billion.
Another major crypto, Solana ($SOL), dropped 12.46% and traded at $81.22 at 8:23 a.m. ET. The market capitalization stood at $27.1 billion, down by 12.46%. However, the 24-hour trading volume gained by 34.24% to $2 billion.
Polygon (MATIC), the crypto that surged more than 11,000% last year, also saw a dip. The coin was down by a huge 9.26% and traded at $1.04 at 8:30 a.m. ET. The market capitalization stood at $8.1 billion, and the 24-hour trading volume was $840 million, up by 19.12%.
Avalanche (AVAX), lost 14.12% and traded at $56.62 at 8:24 a.m. ET. The market capitalization stood at $15.2 billion, and the 24-hour trading volume was $1.3 billion, up by 33.53%.
Cardano (ADA), the Yoroi Wallet hero, had fallen by 9.82% and traded at $0.7786 at 8:24 a.m. ET. The market capitalization stood at $26.2 billion, and the 24-hour trading volume was $1.8 billion, up by about 7.6%.
