Facebook services went down for a second time in a week as their misery continued. Facebook has had a tough 3-weeks from data breaches to servers down.
All Facebook services have been facing another outage since 7 pm GMT. However, at least for now, the outage does not seem to affect all users.
Facebook ironically took Twitter to acknowledge the outage and apologized for any inconvenience caused by this outage. Now Facebook has officially confirmed that the issue has been fixed.
On Monday, a major DNS problem affected Facebook’s servers that “wiped out” the paths to the company’s domains, which took down all Facebook apps and services for hours. Even the company’s internal network was affected, which made the outage even longer and more complicated.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg lost $6 billion due to that major outage.
